V Festival 2017 to feature the best in urban music
Already boasting a jam-packed line up of the world’s hottest rap, grime and R&B talent, Virgin V Festival 2017 today expands on the line up with the V Street Stage Powered by Utilita Energy.
Huge performances are set across Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on 19th and 20th August 2017 from global superstar Jay Z bringing decades of hits and the iconic platinum-selling Magna Carter, grime luminary Stormzy returns following a sold-out UK tour and the release of critically acclaimed debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’, as well as Godfather of garage Craig David playing a host of his smash hits. Rudimental are sure to bring the party to the lineup with their dynamic drum and bass anthems including ‘Feel the Love’, ‘Not Giving In’ and ‘Waiting All Night’, while London lad Dizzee Rascal will entertain crowds with his urban sound and chart topping summer anthems, along with the unmissable South London duo Krept & Konan who have cemented themselves within the genre.
Dancehall superstar Sean Paul will take to the stage with a plethora of world-wide hits and drum and bass duo Sigma also star with their uplifting dance hits such as ‘Nobody To Love’, ‘Changing’ and ‘Find Me’. Chart-topping production trio Disciples will bring their deep house hits including world conquering Calvin Harris collaboration “How Deep Is Your Love” and Queen of UK house Hannah Wants won’t disappoint with her unique mixes and energetic sets, making Virgin V Festival the hottest ticket this summer.
Heading up the newly announced all British V Street Stage Powered by Utilita Energy at Chelmsford on Sunday 20th August and Staffordshire 19th August is South London rapper Yungen. Known for his catchy punchlines and real lyrical ability, the Virgin V Festival crowd will be wowed by one of London’s most exciting and talented underground stars.
