But now there’s a better way. This summer, Vagabond Wine Bars are launching Digital Wine Flights – an app-led tasting experience that helps you figure out what you actually like drinking. No snobbery, no pressure, no sommelier side-eye.
Here’s how it works:
Open the Vagabond app (free to download).
Answer a few fun, taste-based questions – it’s more “citrus or berry?” than “left bank or right bank?”
Try four mini glasses (25ml each) that reflect that style – poured by you, straight from the bar’s self-serve dispensers
Get matched to your personal wine “style” – such as Bold, Crisp, Rich or even Orange.
It’s like a personality test mixed with Pokémon Go, only with actual wine at the end. And it
starts from just £5.

According to a 2025 Bevtrac survey, 76% of UK adults aged 18–27 said they drank alcohol in the past six months – up from 66% in 2023 – and they’re more likely than older generations to do so in bars.
