Verb T x Outstraight to Stage Album Launch Party at Camden Assembly

On Friday 27th June, legendary UK hip-hop artist Verb T and Dublin’s dynamic collective Outstraight Records will bring their highly anticipated collaborative album, Dual Odyssey to life with an electrifying launch party at Camden Assembly. A 12-track masterpiece, Dual Odyssey represents a groundbreaking union between the UK and Irish hip-hop scenes. The project came together in an unexpected way after Outstraight Records had booked Verb T for a sold-out show in Dublin’s iconic Sugar Club venue. Following a storm that grounded flights and stranded Verb T in Ireland, the Outstraight crew “abducted” Verb T into their creative space for an impromptu studio session. The synergy between the UK rap veteran and Dublin’s rising MCs and producers, gave birth to the full-length album Dual Odyssey—a fusion of classic hip-hop soundscapes, intricate lyricism, and raw storytelling.

Outstraight Records, a Dublin-based label and artist collective, has been steadily making a name for itself, carving out a distinct place in the Irish hip-hop scene. The group, which includes MCs Graham, Don Kobz, Beano, Panda Drey & Conkan, has spent the last decade refining its craft, with the past five years dedicated to record label operations. Their collaborative ethos and forward-thinking approach are evident throughout Dual Odyssey, offering a dynamic blend of old-school influences and modern flair, reminiscent of High Focus Records, Griselda, Loyle Carner, and Wu-Tang.
