With nominations for the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2022 now open, independent land agency Walter Cooper has been announced as the event’s headline sponsor. The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the successes of companies that are committed to making homeownership possible for first time buyers.
Having launched to the market in 2020, Walter Cooper has already made a huge impact in the housebuilding world, delivering suitable development land for a number of leading developers. The team is currently championing an era of modernisation in the planning system, to ultimately help authorities meet their housing targets and see communities grow.

Early bird nominations for the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards will close on Wednesday 9thMarch, with the final submission deadline on Wednesday 6thApril at 5pm. A shortlist will be compiled by a panel of judges in May, however, the winners will be decided by the readers of First Time Buyer Magazine, who will be invited to vote online from Monday 16thMay.
The winners will be announced at the awards in September 2022. Each entry costs £395+VAT, an early bird discount will apply to entries received before Wednesday 9thMarch where a discounted entry costs £295+VAT. A number of sponsorship opportunities are available for a range of categories at the 2022 awards.
