Wentworth rebrands as Wextons amid growing demand for guaranteed rental services
Tower Hamlets letting agency, Wentworth has relaunched as Wextons, marking a strategic shift towards guaranteed rental and fully managed property services for private landlords across East London.
The agency, which has operated in the borough since 2006, has relaunched under the Wextons name alongside the introduction of a new website, www.wextons.co.uk, amid increased demand from landlords seeking predictable rental income and professional property management.
This comes as proposed regulatory changes, including the proposed Renters’ Rights Bill, which is expected to be implemented in early 2026, prompting many landlords to reassess how their properties are managed.
According to the agency, the decision to rebrand and refocus its digital presence was driven by a need to better represent its offerings. With demand for guaranteed rental services increasing across London, the new Wextons website has been developed to offer clearer information for landlords considering long-term management options.
Wextons operates across the E1, E2, E3 and E14 postcodes, covering key areas including Canary Wharf, Bethnal Green, Whitechapel and the Isle of Dogs.
These locations benefit from extensive transport links, including Zone 2 Elizabeth Line stations and the Docklands Light Railway network, and remain among the most active rental markets in East London.
As part of its repositioning, Wextons has identified several landlord groups it aims to support through its services.
These include first-time landlords seeking guidance through the East London rental market, portfolio landlords managing multiple properties across areas such as Canary Wharf and Shoreditch, and build-to-rent projects requiring long-term tenancy solutions such as the recent Elektron Tower development.
The service also supports HMO landlords requiring specialist management and compliance oversight, as well as overseas landlords seeking a fully managed arrangement.
Wextons’ guaranteed rental service provides landlords with fixed monthly rental income, paid regardless of occupancy.
The service includes full property management, covering maintenance, repairs and 24-hour emergency callouts.
Properties are let exclusively to vetted professional tenants, rather than through local authority schemes.
Under the guaranteed rental arrangement, landlords receive three months’ rent in advance and can choose lease terms ranging from one to five years.
Wextons also covers void periods, ensuring that rental income continues even when a property is unoccupied. Rental levels are agreed at the outset, with terms structured to reflect local market conditions.
The agency stated that its focus remains on providing long-term, stable rental solutions for landlords across Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.
