Weston Homes have launched a guided virtual tour of their show home at Springfield Park, Maidstone

Leading house builder Weston Homes has launched a guided virtual tour of the show apartment at their impressive development Springfield Park in Maidstone, Kent. Providing 502 new apartments overlooking the peaceful River Medway, the development is set to complete in Spring 2022 and is part of the area’s wider transformation into a sought-after place to live and work.

Springfield Park is located at the northern edge of Maidstone, overlooking the River Medway and towards Whatman Park beyond. The 502 apartments are located across four contemporary buildings; The Colombier, The Atlas, The Imperial, and The Creswick (a 17-storey tower offering spectacular views). Using innovative technology in partnership with Reevo 360, Weston have unveiled a guided virtual tour of the two-bedroom show apartment, showcasing the lifestyle on offer to potential buyers. The first release of new homes at Springfield Park is proving incredibly popular and currently stands at 70% sold within buildings The Imperial and The Creswick.

Maidstone is undergoing an extensive regeneration, with developers and town planners working together to breathe new life into the town. Launched last year, there are now direct trains from Maidstone East station reaching London Bridge in 46 minutes with an average of 110 trains a day, making the town a new hot-spot for commuters. The construction of Springfield Park also coincides with the £3 million regeneration of Maidstone’s town centre, which is connecting its public realms and honouring the town’s cultural heritage.

The 750 sq. ft. show apartment is located in The Creswick building, providing two bedrooms with fitted storage, an open-plan kitchen and living area, a family bathroom and a private terrace showcasing the views available. Potential buyers can either browse the virtual tour on the Weston website at their leisure, or request a guided tour with a trained sales agent. The Weston sales agent will send the buyer an encrypted link and share their screen, able to talk the buyer through the property as they would during a face-to-face viewing.

Weston highlight that a key reason for choosing to work with Reevo 360 is that the guided tours can be joined by up to 50 people at a time, allowing parents, children, financial advisors or lawyers to join in, which suits their key demographic of first-time buyers and downsizers well. The technology behind Reevo 360 took 18 months to develop, and involves a bespoke camera rig capturing interior and exterior images, which are then presented alongside RICS floorplans, creating a smooth and comprehensive tour for the viewer.

The first residents moved in Springfield Park at the start of the year, with the entire scheme set to complete in Spring 2022. Each home embodies Weston’s high standards which includes fitted kitchen with Zanussi and Fascino appliances, luxury bathrooms with Fascino Smart Showers and Baths, and a choice of quartz stone worktops. There is polished chrome ironmongery throughout, with forest oak doors and a choice of carpet to the bedrooms.
