Following the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, leading estate agency Wetherell reports that a private front door is a top priority for home-seekers, revealing there is a premium of up to 10% for properties with their own private entrances. Evoking the old Mayfair of the nineteenth-century with a grand private entrance, Wetherell are launching a luxury three-bedroom maisonette at 18 Curzon Street for discerning home-seekers.

Wetherell reports that recent enquiries from both buyers and tenants are focused on the privacy and security of a private front entrance, in turn giving these homes a price premium. In recent years, the ultra-prime mixed-use developments have appealed to Mayfair buyers, with residents-only access to world-class amenities a top priority.
