Your chance to be included in Museum of Youth Culture’s first book

Museum of Youth Culture (MOYC) is calling out for submissions to be included in their first crowdfunded book – GROWN UP IN BRITAIN: A NATIONAL PHOTO ALBUM due to be published in time for Christmas 2021.

This new book will journey through the unique styles, music and family life of Great Britain during the last century (1920 to 2020).

The Museum is looking for photographs and memorabilia that tell the story of pastimes, leisure, sports, DIY and all those things that seemed so normal and now bring back evocative memories. Tickets stubs, pin badges, setlists, club memberships all this ephemera will create a nationwide photo album celebrating what it means to be young in Britain.

Throughout August and September the Museum of Youth Culture will host ‘scrapbooking’ and special talk events at their pop up store and exhibition space, 57 Carnaby Street, London where articles can be submitted or via MOYC socials/website.

The crowdfunded,‘ Grown Up in Britain’ a 60 page 12” x 10” hardback nationwide photo-album will help fundraise towards the MOYC permanent space and make an individual memory a legacy.
