With a staggering 1,000% surge in online searches for the event, naturally, everyone is obsessed with the glamourous outfits of Hollywood’s A-listers who graced the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.

Actress, Zendaya, was the highlight of the event as she generated a staggering 860% increase in searches compared to other stars in attendance. It’s no shock as her jaw-dropping look not only stole the spotlight but also set the stage for one of this year’s biggest jewellery trends, the macro necklace.

Arwa Hassan, in-house style director at PRYA, leading jewellery brand, predicted that 2025 will mark a shift away from minimalist designs in favour of bold, statement-making accessories such as the macro necklace and the first event of awards season has already confirmed it.

Zendaya, who debuted the trend on the Golden Globes red carpet, was joined by fellow A-listers Selena Gomez, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Salma Hayek in embracing the statement necklace trend.

Awra says, “It’s clear that large, attention-grabbing necklaces are making a powerful comeback, with their bold focal points and expressive designs commanding the spotlight.”

Zendaya’s show-stopping piece, a 31-carat necklace from the renowned Bvlgari, exemplified the year’s trend toward jewellery with volume and artistic flair. Meanwhile, Anya Taylor-Joy dazzled in a Tiffany & Co. creation featuring six opals set in platinum and gold, while Selena Gomez wore a breathtaking necklace, also by Tiffany & Co., highlighted by an 18-carat emerald-cut diamond.

While necklaces dominated the red carpet, stacked rings are also emerging as another jewellery trend for 2025. Model Cara Delevingne helped ignite the stacked ring craze, offering a stylish and personalized touch for those looking to express their individuality through jewellery.

The 2025 Golden Globes marked not only a celebration of talent but also the beginning of a bold new era in jewellery.
