Jen Pringle, a presenter on Channel 5’s Milkshake has pledged to continue her support for The Sick Children’s Trust by becoming an official ambassador for the charity which supports families with seriously ill children in hospital.

The Sick Children’s Trust supports families who are going through the most difficult of times as their child undergoes lifesaving treatment at a specialist hospital away from home. With ten ‘Homes from Home’ across the UK, The Sick Children’s Trust provides emotional and practical support to families so they can stay close to their seriously ill child, minutes from their hospital bedside.
Jen Pringle, said “Keeping families together is essential in the recovery of seriously ill children and The Sick Children’s Trust is a wonderful charity that truly supports families in their time of need.
I am honoured to be an ambassador for The Sick Children’s Trust. I have enjoyed fundraising for them in the past, hosting Big Chocolate Tea parties and taking part in the annual Pyjama Party. These fundraising initiatives enable members of the public to support the charity, directly helping thousands of families across the UK.”
The Sick Children’s Trust supports around 4,000 families every year and relies entirely on voluntary donations to do this. It costs the charity £30 to support a family for one night.
