Polterheist, an award-winning gangster-black comedy shot across Bradford is having its premiere next week
Polterheist, an award-winning gangster-black comedy shot across Bradford is having its premiere at The Light Cinema in Bradford on September 26th with additional dates (October 1st and 2nd) added due to popular demand.
Featuring local cast and crew and filmed at locations across Bradford and Leeds, Polterheist was directed by Dave Gilbank and has already screened at numerous film festivals around the world in 2018, collecting multiple awards for its humour, action and superb performances by a cast that includes Pushpinder Chani, Sid Akbar Ali and Jo Mouseley.
Highly acclaimed Bradford actor and film-maker Moey Hassan (BBC TV) said this about Polterheist: “This film is one of the best films ever made in Bradford. If you loved Billy Liar and Rita Sue and Bob Too this one is right up there with them… set in modern, multicultural Bradford. Wannabe Gangsters and drug dealers are dealt a blow by the living dead and levels of incompetence not seen since the Four Lions. DO NOT MISS IT!!”
