This Saturday, 29th of September is the date Brits are officially ready for WINTER
A nationwide survey has revealed that this is the weekend MILLIONS of Brits will be getting their winter wardrobes out, packing up their gardens and getting the first roast of the season in the oven.
According to the research, as many as 74 percent of us are now ready for winter – with more than a third (35 percent) saying they literally cannot wait for it.
In fact, as many as 60 percent of Brits say this weekend, they will unleash their winter wardrobes by getting their jumpers and knitwear out. As many as 37 percent will be getting the heating back on full – or lighting a real fire, while 29 percent will be enjoying hot drinks such as warming hot chocolates or pumpkin spice lattes.
Around one in four people (24 percent) will have a bubble bath to mark the start of winter – and over one in ten say they will have their first roast of the season.
The study of almost 2,000 Britons from garden storage company Keter, showed that 56 percent of Britain will packing away their gardens THIS weekend
But sadly, the research shows that average family will spend £100 on garden damage over the winter months, adding up to a whopping £2,448,000,000 for the whole UK spent every year on replacing winter-damaged items.
And that’s after they’ve spent on average £196 on the garden this summer already.
