5,000 free Espresso Martinis up for grabs this March at Slug & Lettuce
Coffee meets cocktails this March as Tia Maria teams up with Slug & Lettuce to celebrate Espresso Martini Day with a nationwide giveaway.
As part of the ongoing collaboration between the two brands, up to 5,000 Tia Maria Espresso Martinis will be given away across participating Slug & Lettuce venues throughout March (excluding Scotland), giving cocktail lovers the perfect excuse to raise a glass to one of the UK’s favourite serves.
The Espresso Martini’s story dates back to 1985 in London, when legendary bartender Dick Bradsell created the now-iconic cocktail after a customer famously asked for a drink that would “wake me up and then f**k me up.” In search of the perfect coffee liqueur to complete the recipe, Tia Maria became the final piece of the puzzle.
Since then, the cocktail has become a global favourite and continues to dominate bar menus. The Espresso Martini consistently ranks among the top five bestselling cocktails in the UK[1], particularly popular with Gen Z consumers enjoying out-of-home occasions.
