Colosseum Dental UK launches as the first pan-European chain of dental practices in the UK

Colosseum Dental UK Ltd this week launched as the first and only pan-European chain of dental practices in the UK. The group, formerly known as Southern Dental, has received a £5M funding injection from its new parent company, Zurich-based Colosseum Dental Group, enabling all 80 clinics to undergo a refresh and refurbishment programme throughout 2018.

CEO, Peter Keegans, says, Our aim is to provide clinical excellence for patients in a modern setting whilst retaining a human touch.

Colosseum Dental has more than 900 employees and Associates (including 250 dental professionals) and remains the 3rd largest dental chain in the UK, operating 80 practices in 19 counties ranging from Dorset to Nottinghamshire.

Colosseum Dental UK’s aim is to be the ‘best in class’ dental chain in the South of England through a combination of physical investment, plus improved training and expertise, including broader opportunities for career development and the sharing of best practice afforded by being a Pan-European group.
