Couples named ‘Mike and El’ given vouchers for Stranger Things inspired Hawkins Diner delivery

Not ready to let go of Stranger Things? This Valentine’s Day, Sessions is giving fans the chance to relive Stranger Things with a free Hawkins Diner delivery for couples named Mike and El.

To be in with a chance of receiving the offer, couples must prove themselves real-life counterparts to the characters by sending a screenshot of their name and ‘Facebook Official’ couple status or a wedding photo to @sessions_uk on Instagram before Valentine’s Day ends at 23:59 on 14th February.

Mikes and Els need to be quick to secure the free feast: in homage to Stranger Things’s protagonist, Eleven, only the first 11 couples will get their hands on the coveted delivery voucher!

The Hawkins Diner menu up for grabs blends classic American comfort food with playful twists inspired by the hit show. Enjoy dishes like The Upside Down Stack (smashed beef patties, cheese, pickles, mustard, and ketchup served between fluffy pancakes), the fiery Hellfire Tots (golden tots piled high with jalapeños, onions, and Hawkins’ fiery sauces), and nostalgic Banana Pudding layered with cream and Biscoff crumb. Accompany these flavour-packed dishes with a retro Mountain Dew, Root Beer or Dr Pepper Cherry to complete the throw-back diner experience.

The menu and this competition is created by Sessions, the distribution engine for restaurant brands, recently recognised in the The Sunday Times 100 Tech and responsible for more than five million food-delivery orders to date. Following the success of a Squid Games-inspired menu, the Hawkins Diner menu, created in collaboration with Netflix, was launched in the midst of the show’s epic final season, and now turns Valentine’s Day into a Stranger Things celebration with the Mike & El giveaway.
