ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN AND BADLY DRAWN BOY JOIN DOVES AT GUNNERSVILLE CONCERT SERIES
Showcasing the best in music, Gunnersville is the brand new tented concert series heading to Gunnersbury Park later this year. Today, Festival Republic announces further acts to join Doves who will headline the opening night of the inaugural event on Friday 6th September. Joining Doves are iconic Liverpudlian band Echo & the Bunnymen whose post-punk and psychedelia sound saw them reach critical acclaim with multiple top 10 hits and a global cult following. With four decades of music in their repertoire, expect to hear all the hits including ‘The Killing Moon’, ‘The Cutter’, ‘Seven Seas’ and ‘Lips Like Sugar’.
Renowned singer songwriter and Mercury Prize winner Damon Gough aka Badly Drawn Boy also joins the lineup. With multiple top 10 albums to his name, including his film soundtrack for ‘About a Boy’, he will be bringing fan favourites like ‘Something to Talk About’ and ‘Once Around The Block’ to Gunnersville.
