Former Google and GoCardless sales head Marcus Oulds joins Yoyo

GoCardless’ director of UK sales and Google’s former head of SMB acquisition and operations, Marcus Oulds, has joined Europe’s fastest growing combined payments and loyalty marketing platform, Yoyo, as its new VP commercial.

Marcus Oulds has more than 12 years’ experience and was previously director of UK sales at GoCardless, a fintech company that helps businesses collect recurring online payments and which recently raised £58 million in Series E funding.

Before that, Oulds spent more than three years running SMB acquisition at Google as head of sales and operations within its UK headquarters.

Leading several highly-successful sales team within the digital industry, and specialising in advertising, e-commerce and hyper growth operations, Oulds was also integral to Groupon’s UK expansion.

With Yoyo in the process of international expansion, Oulds has been briefed to oversee commercial operations, including sales, marketing and customer success.
