GOSH CHARITY BRINGS FESTIVE CHEER TO YOUR LIVING ROOM WITH THEIR VIRTUAL CAROL CONCERT

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) is delighted to announce that the 2020 Christmas Carol Concert will be broadcast virtually on Tuesday 8 December, for everyone to enjoy the festive celebrations from the comfort of their own homes.

The much-loved Christmas Carol Concert will be a virtual celebration filled with popular carols, readings from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) patients, celebrity guests and special musical performances. The concert will take place from 6.30-7.30pm with tickets costing £25 per household.

Hosted by television presenter, Matt Johnson live from St Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, this is the 21st annual Christmas Carol Concert, which will also feature festive performances from Jack Savoretti, Calum Scott and Laura Wright, along with seasonal readings from much-loved actors and presenters, Andrew Scott, Nina Sosanya, Fiona Shaw, Matt Barber and Holly Willoughby. All musical performances and readings have been pre-recorded for the occasion.

As well as enjoying the evening’s entertainment, people will also be able to enjoy an exclusive silent auction and a raffle. GOSH Charity has also teamed up with MeMe London to sell the ‘Rainbow of Hope’ bracelet. Available to buy from the GOSH Charity website in both adult and children’s sizes, for every bracelet purchased, MeMe London will donate another to a child at GOSH this Christmas and 100% of the £25 cost will be donated to GOSH Charity.

Money raised through the ticket sales, silent auction and raffle, as well as donations on the night will help to fund vital resources and support that GOSH needs this Christmas to get seriously ill children back home to their families as soon as possible. For those children whose treatment needs to continue over the festive season, the support will help GOSH staff go above and beyond to bring Christmas to the hospital and make it feel like a home from home.
