How a restaurant brand became a leading hospitality chain – Meet Romet Group!

Meet Romet Group, the new kids on the block in the hospitality and restaurant sector, but don’t be fooled by their new beginnings. The group stems from a restaurant brand dating back over a decade.

Over 10 years ago, then restaurant manager Lorenzo Manconi had the idea of launching an authentic Mediterranean eatery, hence the brand Pivaz Restaurant was born, at the time they held a very humble eatery based in the cosy neighbourhood of Hackney.

Fast-forward to 2017, Pivaz where opening an opulent base in the leafy and exclusive Epping High Street, and in 2018 they opened the doors to their Brentwood High Street restaurant which is so exclusive numerous celebrities regularly dine there and episodes of ITVBe show The Only Way Is Essex have been filmed there.

2019 saw the birth of Romet Group which incorporated the Pivaz Restaurant brands, Venerdi Restaurant in Hackney, fish and chip eatery Cod&CO and Apricot Foods to name but a few.

The man at the helm of the venture Lorenzo Manconi has vowed to increase the Group’s portfolio by adding another 3-4 eateries over the next three years.
