Dr Tuvia Book, an Israel Defence Forces combat medic, has criticised Prime Minister Kier Starmer’s inaction in the Middle East, where the fight is “much bigger” than just the US, Israel and Iran.

Speaking with GB News’ Will Godley at a celebratory gathering outside Downing Street, he said: “The last British prime minister who appeased evil was Neville Chamberlain in the 1930s. We saw how well that one ended.”

“One cannot appease evil. One has to be on the fight of good and the fight of righteousness. The only way to deal with evil is to fight against it, to destroy it for the greater good of the world. So clearly, the current British Prime Minister is on the wrong side of history.”

“I think these strikes are necessary. It’s a preemptive strike. We’re talking about a regime that murdered 30,000 of its own people in two days, and millions of people over the years. And you can’t wait for a regime like this to develop nuclear weapons.”

“You’ve got to take a step back. You can’t just see it as United States and Israel against Iran. This is a much, much bigger battle. This is a force of light, of Judeo-Christian values against a demonic death cult. So it’s not just for the Jews of Britain. For people who love freedom throughout the world, this is a massive day.”

On taking part in the celebrations in central London, Dr Tuvia said: “It feels amazing to be here. It’s one of the few places in Great Britain right now where you can walk around, where one can walk around with an Israeli flag, open signs of Judaism, and not feel afraid. It really feels like a brotherhood of humanity.”

“This is love. This is not hate. And that’s really the difference. We’re talking about a people who love peace against people who worship hate and death. That’s a big difference. This is the force of good and the force of light.”

Dr Book, whose military unit evacuates wounded soldiers from Gaza, said: “Let’s not forget that Hamas is one of the many in Iranian proxies throughout the world: Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis. With the demise of the Iranian regime, the world will be able to be the much bigger sigh of relief.”
