Ivan Ramen Launches New Summer Menu

Ivan Ramen – the cult Japanese restaurant in Farringdon by Netflix’s Chef’s Table star Ivan Orkin – has announced the launch of its summer menu, available now.

The new summer menu launches just in time for another London heatwave. Whilst ramen is a dish to be enjoyed year-round, some prefer a slightly cooler dish during the hot summer months, and the new Cold Sesame Noodles won’t disappoint. The dish is made up of Ivan Ramen’s thick mazemen noodles tossed in a cold, creamy sesame broth and topped with pulled chilli chicken, red peppers, fresh coriander, spring onions and sesame seeds.

Paying homage to Ivan’s New York roots, the new menu also includes the Pastrami Bun, a fluffy bao bun filled with NY-style pastrami, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing.

Another summer number includes the Miso Chicken Caesar Salad topped with crunchy pangrattato and parmesan cheese, ideal for those wanting an umami kick during the summer months.

Of course, the classic favourites remain on the menu, such as the Shoyu ramen, the spicy miso red chilli ramen and the Tori Paitan, alongside Ivan’s Karaage fried chicken and the delectable chicken gyoza.

The refreshed summer menu launches quickly after Ivan Ramen evolves into a tachigui-style service model, a traditional method used in Japanese ramen restaurants where guests order and pay in a single interaction. Focused on efficiency, it is easier than ever to drop into Ivan Ramen for a lunch between meetings, a solo bite or a spontaneous dinner date whilst embracing the dining culture that has long made ramen bars a fixture of daily life in Japan.

Behind Ivan Ramen is Ivan Orkin, the internationally renowned ramen master and star of Netlix’s Chef’s Table, who first launched Ivan Ramen in Tokyo to much acclaim, before expanding to New York and Las Vegas, and most recently London’s Farringdon (November 2025). The restaurant quickly made its mark on London’s competitive dining scene with its flavour-packed ramen and moreish small plates, attracting local, devoted Ivan fans and newcomers alike.
