Kaiser Chiefs’ lead singer confirmed to perform at Butterfly Ball

Ricky Wilson, lead singer of one of Britain’s most treasured bands, the Kaiser Chiefs is confirmed to perform at Caudwell Children’s most prestigious London event, The Butterfly Ball.

Caudwell Children now in its 23rd year as a charity promises that the 2023 Butterfly Ball will be unlike any charity event guests have ever seen, where diversity will be celebrated in all forms focusing on the theme “We Are All Different, Be You.”

With platinum record sales and 8 million albums sold, the Yorkshire born star will take centre stage at this year’s Butterfly Ball taking place on 11th May.

The singer is famed for hits including, Ruby, I predict a Riot and Never Miss a Beat and has toured with world-class bands such as U2, Foo Fighters and Green Day.

By performing at the Butterfly Ball, Ricky will join an impressive list of musical greats who have entertained audiences at the annual event, including Lionel Richie, Tina Turner, Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and the late Whitney Houston.

Chief Executive of Caudwell Children, Trudi Beswick said “We are extremely privileged to have Ricky join us for the Butterfly Ball, he is one of the UK’s biggest talents and we can’t wait to see his performance at this year’s event which is set to be our biggest and most ambitious yet.”

Last year’s event raised a phenomenal £1.5million, where every penny raised went directly to providing vital support to over 14,000 autistic children and children with a disability.

The charity is known for pulling out all of the stops when it comes to their fundraising events and this year’s event is taking place on 11th May at one of London’s most sough-after event spaces, indigo at the O2 the Butterfly Ball is set to surpass the excellence of last year.
