LEGO F1® to headline LEGO Festival 2026 Thrill Zone
It’s lights out and away we go! LEGO Festival 2026 hits top speed as LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort reveals LEGO F1® will headline the Thrill Zone, becoming the first major IP partner to be announced for this year’s festival line-up.
The ultimate celebration of play, LEGO Festival is built for kids to take the lead and designed to spark creativity, fuel imaginations, bringing families together through interactive experiences. Taking centre stage in the new Thrill Zone, the LEGO F1® experience will bring the buzz of an F1® Race Day to life with a full-throttle line-up of high-energy moments, hands-on racing builds, family pit crew challenges and even surprise costumed character appearances.
Families will race against the clock to complete the fastest LEGO® F1® pit stop tyre change in the Brick Stop Challenge – working together to test their teamwork as an official pit crew around a larger-than-life LEGO® F1® car.
Shifting gear and bringing a whole new vibe to the pit lane is the Pit Lane Hype Show. This live beat-driven drum and percussion experience is performed using only tools and snapping bricks, capturing the pulse of a race weekend and creating an unmissable family dance along moment.
For those who want to raise the competitive stakes, there is even a chance to become race engineers for the day. Kids and grown-ups alike can design, build and race their own LEGO® F1® brick vehicles, testing ideas, to see if they can find that extra bit of pace for race day victory.
Neil Poulter, Vice President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort said:
“LEGO Festival is built for kids and powered by play, it’s a limited time experience where creativity takes the lead and imaginations run wild. With LEGO® F1® headlining our new Thrill Zone, families can dive into the race day atmosphere at this first of its kind pit stop challenge. It is fast, colourful and packed with feel-good fun for everyone, from start to finish.”
The Thrill Zone also shines a spotlight on F1® ACADEMYimage.png – a junior racing championship created to champion the next generation of female talent, helping even more girls see themselves in the world of motorsport and connect with F1® in a meaningful, empowering way.
And because no race day is complete without a photo finish, guests will also have plenty of chances to capture picture-perfect moments throughout their day. From meeting LEGO pit crew characters to stepping up for a winner’s photo, everyone can celebrate like champions and take home a memory worthy of the chequered flag.
Running from 20 July to 31 August 2026, LEGO Festival will turn LEGOLAND Windsor Resort into a full-on festival of imagination across five interactive zones: Music, Creative, Chill Out alongside the brand-new Thrill and Play Zone.
LEGO Festival will be available at six LEGOLAND® Resorts worldwide: LEGOLAND California, LEGOLAND Deutschland, LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND New York, LEGLAND Shanghai, LEGOLAND Windsor and will be included in the regular ticket prices.
