Made By Pete drops emotive and dreamy third single ‘I Remember’ from forthcoming self-released debut album ‘Rosebank’: Single Out Now

Set to be a standout moment on Made By Pete’s forthcoming debut album ‘Rosebank’, the third single ‘I Remember’ pairs his signature production warmth with London producer Blindsmyth and singer-songwriter Kyozo. It lands via Made By Pete’s own imprint, ‘Life In Colour’ on 19th June.

‘I Remember’ is an uplifting, dreamy cut with a driving kick and warm synth stabs layered beneath Kyozo’s floaty vocal. It has already attracted early support from some of the genre’s best-known tastemakers, including Steve Lawler, PAXX, Themba, Hector Romero, Dave Seaman and Pete Tong.

The release also continues the creative chemistry between Made By Pete and Blindsmyth, following their original single ‘Run With Me’on Bedouin’s Human By Default imprint in 2024. That same summer, Blindsmyth dropped into Made By Pete’s London studio to capture a live version of the track—and a day-two studio jam quietly planted the seed that would later bloom into ‘I Remember’.

“Simon was playing some chords on the Moog Matriarch and, because it’s paraphonic, the voicing was changing randomly with each key press. It created a really interesting tone that we both loved. A few weeks later, when I revisited the project and added the drum break, it really brought the idea to life.”

The idea then sat dormant for over a year before being sent to London singer-songwriter Kyozo. His lush tones proved the missing piece, bringing the record to where it stands today.

“It’s by far the ‘happiest’ sounding record on the album, and that’s not usually an adjective I would use to describe my music. I absolutely loved it, but still felt the need to create another version that would be more suited to my DJ sets. This is where the ‘Other Mix’ was born.” — MBP

Made By Pete is an international touring artist, songwriter, producer and DJ. His work has been championed by many of electronic music’s most influential publications and tastemakers. Since 2018, he has been a regular presence on Damian Lazarus’ renowned label Crosstown Rebels, with support spanning legends such as Moodymann, Sasha and Danny Tenaglia, alongside contemporary names including WhoMadeWho, Monolink and Damian Lazarus himself.

His original tracks have been remixed by artists such as Solomun and Black Coffee, while he has delivered remixes for Vintage Culture, Bedouin, and CamelPhat’s ‘Cola’ for Defected Records. Known for singles including ‘Horizon Red’ (2023), which has surpassed 3 million Spotify streams, plus ‘Fires’ (2024) and ‘In My Head’ (2025), Made By Pete’s shift to a full-length album allows him to explore a broader musical palette beyond club-focused tracks.
