MILTON KEYNES DEVELOPER ENCOURAGES RESIDENTS TO KEEP HEALTH AND WELLBEING A TOP PRIORITY

In response to the lifestyle shift we are facing now COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, Milton Keynes developer Barratt and David Wilson Homes is reminding local residents to keep their health and wellbeing a priority as we adjust back into ‘normality’.

The homebuilder – which has welcomed many residents who have moved into its Woburn Downs development in Milton Keynes – has partnered with The Stress Management Society to give its top tips on managing stress and anxiety.

Handy leaflets with information and support have been delivered to the residents at the development as part of Stress Awareness Month which runs throughout April.

The tips from The Stress Management Society focus on taking a proactive approach to wellbeing, as well as highlighting some signs of stress to lookout for.

Amer Alkhalil, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Northampton, said: “The hustle and bustle of going back to commuting and navigating around busy high streets and town centres will take some adjusting to after a period of limited contact and social distancing. Recognising the signs of stress and how to deal with these are vital.

“After a challenging time for us all, we hope that we can support our residents and encourage them to think about their own wellbeing, as well as the mental health of those around them.”

The Stress Management Society is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping individuals and companies recognise and reduce stress. Since its inception in 2003, the society hopes to create a happier, healthier, more resilient and sustainable world.
