Rhianna places higher than Jeff Bezos on the index of the most influential entrepreneurs in business today

Fashion business mogul and recording artist Rhianna has more global influence than Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, a new study by ZenBusiness has revealed.

The study, called the Entrepreneur Influencer Index, took 50 of the best-known entrepreneurs in business today, and examined their influence on the world around them, measuring ten key influence metrics, including TEDTalk views, presence in Forbes, and total social media followers.

While it may be of little surprise to see Jeff Bezos in the top five, it may raise a few eyebrows to see Barbadian recording artists and successful entrepreneur Rihanna finish above him in third place, just behind Elon Musk and top placed Bill Gates.

The most obvious factor in Rihanna’s high placing stems from the legions of fans she’s earned around the world after over a decade scaling the top of the music charts. However, a large part of her success also comes from the enduring popularity and commercial success of her fashion brand Fenty.

Reportedly worth over $2.8 billion US, Fenty is now one of the biggest fashion brands in the world, enabling Rihanna to elevate her influence beyond the entertainment industry.
