Chortle’s Comedian’s Comedian (2020) and quintessential New Yorker, Jack Tucker (Zach Zucker) brings this raunchy, silly, so-bad-he’s-amazing, comic creation to his first ever comedy special. Produced by Stamptown in partnership with Alchemation, it will launch worldwide on YouTube April 12th (https://www.youtube.com/@Stamptown) following a trio of exclusive early screenings in New York, Los Angeles and London for fans who had the chance to see it ahead of release.

Filmed at the Bell House in Brooklyn, NY, this high-energy special is packed with a mountain of gags and classic Tucker charm, and features guest appearances from Neil Patrick Harris, and Dyson Knight of the Baha Men (anyone familiar with Jack Tucker and the Stamptown franchise will be familiar with how close the Baha Men are to Jack’s heart).

Jack Tucker has had a smoking run of sold-out shows all over the world as host and fulcrum of chaotic cult clown collective cabaret ‘Stamptown’, which will be filming its own comedy variety special for Netflix as part of the Netflix is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles this May.

Fighting to save his marriage, regain the respect of his son, and pay off the countless loan sharks looking to collect their debts, this inexplicably soaking wet, soon-to-be-divorced, often shoeless lovable idiot, is wholly unaware that he’s in way over his head. Tucker will do whatever it takes to make you laugh. If the joke doesn’t land, it’s not because it isn’t funny, you just didn’t get it. Nothing can stop him, except himself.

Behind the sound-desk is Zach’s long-time collaborator and fellow École Philippe Gaulier graduate Jonny Woolley. With a barrage of hot cues on a midi pad at his disposal, Jonny’s foley skills amplify and enhance the theatrical experience by firing sound cues and punctuating jokes with cartoonish sound effects, creating a new style of performance that has been described as ‘jazz-clown’.

In the director and editor’s seat is photographer, animator, and roller-skating circus aerialist Dylan Woodley, the third of the Tucker trio. Woodley elevates an already intense show by introducing a flurry of zooming cameras and rapid-fire cuts, creating a one-of-a-kind comedy special experience fit for the singularly manic character that is Jack Tucker.

A graduate of École Philippe Gaulier in France, Zucker is an award-winning, performer/producer based in London, New York and LA. He is also one half of Norwegian-American, comedy duo, Zach & Viggo (with Britain’s Got Talent winner, Viggo Venn).

Jack Tucker: Comedy Special Standup Hour is created and performed by Zucker, directed by Dylan Woodley, and co-devised by Zucker, Woolley and Dylan Woodley.
