Strictly’s Giovanni praises ‘incredibile’ Rose Ayling-Ellis
STRICTLY star Giovanni Pernice has paid tribute to his former dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis and revealed that they were recently reunited.
He told GB News: “We definitely stay in touch. Of course, Rose is busy doing a play and I went to watch it, and it is absolutely hilarious, she’s incredible in it.
“And I’m on tour myself. But we’ll go dancing again, we’re really, really good friends.”
Asked by Eamonn Holmes if he dances as soon as he wakes up, Giovanni said: “That’s what you have to do when you wake up in the morning, you have to get moving, it is the most important thing to do.
“And yeah, a little stretch, a little bit of tango when you brush your teeth. I mean, smart things like this really can help to improve your immune system.
“Dancing is one of the most important things to keep your body moving, but as well, you know, a good night’s sleep can help and obviously to stay hydrated is very important as well.
“So all these things really can help to stay fit in a sense.”
He added: “What you have to really try to do, from the moment you wake up in the morning you have to move because it really helps to improve your system.
“And then obviously if there’s time you go to the gym, food it’s very important as well.
“So as you said, being on tour is quite difficult but if you get a structure, if you know your routine for yourself, that definitely helps.”
