English Premier League Boxing Day Fixtures 2022

The decades-old tradition of holding English football matches on Boxing Day continues in 2022 after the Premier League announced the festive fixture schedule for the year. The 2022/23 Premier League season is on hold right now due to the World Cup in Qatar, which is not scheduled to finish until December 18th. This gives the Premier League clubs just one week to rest their players and prepare for the resumption of the league on Boxing Day.

Many fans look forward to the Boxing Day football throughout the year, meaning that those who wish to attend the games in person have to purchase a ticket as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Whilst some fans may be tired of football by the time the World Cup champions are crowned in Qatar, there is sure to be just as many who remain as excited as ever for these Boxing Day fixtures.
