St Katharine Docks is hosting its Floating Film Festival – starting on Monday 5th December, for one week only!

St Katharine Docks welcomes back its Floating Film Festival for 2022, screening a selection of festive favourites over a week-long extravaganza, starting Monday 5th December.

Nothing screams Christmas spirit more than a Christmas movie and St Katharine Docks will deliver festive cheer and the best hospitality at its renowned Floating Film Festival, pulling out all the stock(ing)s. This event is weather-proof so expect no rain-deer but instead, the cosiest of sofas, deck chairs and blankets, creating a picturesque Christmas evening to be enjoyed amongst friends and loved ones.

The Floating Film Festival will screen a selection of Christmas classics including Elf, Love Actually and Top Gun: Maverick.

Enjoy fantastic local food and drink from local Turkish restaurant, Kilikyas, as well as a selection of Christmas goodies, all served up amongst the dazzling waterside setting of St Katharine Docks.

St Katharine Docks lit up for Christmas to mark the start of the festive season by hosting its Christmas lights switch-on celebration on the 24th November. Visitors were treated with free minced pies and mulled wine keeping them toasty by the waterside as children were welcomed with a visit from Santa who of course came bearing gifts. The evening was topped off by its live jazz band playing Christmas classics.

The Floating Film Festival and Christmas lights switch-on are few of the many unmissable events at St Katharine Docks’. Offering an incredible array of festive drinks and treats to provide all the warmth and fuzziness of a jolly Christmas evening in full view of the glistening waters and bright cityscapes overlooking St Katharine Docks.
