New Home Bargains Store Opening in Newcastle-Under-Lyme
Home Bargains has invested approximately £3 million into its new store, ‘Newcastle-Under-Lyme 2’, located on Lyme Valley Road, which will be officially opened at 8.00 am on Saturday 13th June 2026.
As one of the UK’s largest family-run retailers, Home Bargains is creating 72 new jobs in the local community with its new store in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
The new ‘Newcastle-Under-Lyme 2’ store will complement the existing Newcastle-Under-Lyme store and over 600 outlets across the UK. Opening approximately 50 stores a year, Home Bargains is bucking current trends in the industry.
Daryl Tyler, the new Newcastle-Under-Lyme 2 store manager, said: “We are incredibly excited and proud to be opening our new store. Bringing together a café, bakery, and garden centre under one roof offers something unique and different for the local community. We have built an outstanding team who are ready and eager to welcome customers and provide a fantastic experience from day one.”
The 19,687 sq. ft store, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food. The Newcastle-Under-Lyme 2 store will also be home to a Home Bargains bakery, café and garden centre.
