Mexican-born hospitality brand Nômade Temple today announces the opening of Nômade Temple Ibiza, its second destination in Spain, located on the rugged northern shores of Portinatx. Conceived as a nature-rooted sanctuary where architecture, ritual, and community converge, the Temple emerges as an evolving ecosystem designed to bring Nômade’s philosophy of celebratory healing and shared experience into direct dialogue with Ibiza’s natural landscape. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and a secluded, untouched cala, the property offers a different expression of Ibiza: one grounded in connection, creativity, and the deliberate rhythms of the island.

Offering a collection of 182 rooms, suites, lofts, and villas, every aspect of the experience has been created to honour Ibiza’s bohemian heritage, fostering new forms of connection between people, place, and self. Across the property, guests can explore a diverse collection of spaces including the 810-square-metre GÖN House of Healing wellness sanctuary, El Templo for movement and cultural gatherings, Nômade Studio recording space, a curated Bazaar, and six distinct food and beverage concepts spanning from the open-fire communal dining of Tavla to an intimate hi-fi listening bar.

An Architectural Dialogue with the Raw Northern Coastline

Nômade Temple Ibiza marks the transformation of a former resort into a destination designed in dialogue with its natural surroundings, rather than imposing itself on the landscape. Under the premise of “giving the land back to nature,” the project preserves the spirit of Ibiza’s northern coastline while reimagining the site through a contemporary, conscious lens. Existing structures have been thoughtfully reinterpreted, allowing the property to blend naturally into the terrain while minimising environmental impact. Designed and curated by the team at Oneness, the architecture celebrates the island’s identity through honest materials with genuine character: piedra blanca, sabina wood, and handcrafted terracotta tiles. Organic pathways weave through native vegetation, encouraging guests to explore at their own pace while discovering hidden corners and spontaneous gathering points. Inspired by Ibiza’s bohemian legacy of the 1970s, interiors balance rustic textures with a contemporary sensibility, creating spaces that feel both intimate, raw, and deeply connected to place. Accommodation ranges from guestrooms and suites to oceanfront villas and lofts conceived as creative sanctuaries, many featuring private pools and expansive sea views. Reflecting Nômade’s emphasis on human connection and community, the property’s signature accommodations include communal cliffside villas designed around shared living, alongside double-height lofts conceived as residential studios for artists and creators seeking inspiration from the natural rhythms of northern Ibiza.

Extending the property’s emphasis on discovery and cultural exchange, the Bazaar draws inspiration from the bustling marketplaces of Istanbul and the Moroccan souks. Conceived as a walkable environment filled with colour, texture and craftsmanship, the space invites guests to wander through a curated collection of fabrics, clothing, spices, perfumes, handcrafted objects and one-of-a-kind pieces. An elevated internal walkway meanders through a series of intimate corners and displays where everything, from furniture and rugs to lamps and decorative objects, is available for purchase, encouraging visitors to slow down, explore and engage.

Subterranean Sanctuaries for Restoration Through Water and Ritual

Conceived as the organic counterpoint to celebration, GÖN House of Healing is hidden among the rocks as an 810-square-metre wellness sanctuary inspired by Ibiza’s ancient cave formations. Centred around the restorative power of water as a primary source for physical and emotional renewal, the space welcomes guests into a subterranean environment designed for deep reconnection and calm. The spa’s thermal circuit includes hammams, saunas, cold plunges, and flotation experiences, centering its experience around the Wataflow Sanctuary.

The treatment menu weaves ancestral wisdom with advanced contemporary therapies. Signature experiences include the Waterness Journey™, an immersive warm-water therapy in which guests are gently guided through fluid movements designed to encourage deep relaxation and heightened sensory awareness, and the Emotional Alchemy Ritual, which combines guided meditation and body therapy to release stored tension and cultivate emotional clarity. Further wellness offerings range from yoga and Pilates to astrology, hypnotherapy, and emotional freedom techniques (EFT).

Each stay begins with a complimentary consultation led by a dedicated Journey Designer, who curates a personalised pathway through the property’s wellbeing and cultural programming. Guests also have access to the advanced cellular science of Augustinus Bader facial therapies, dedicated movement spaces, and a fully equipped gym designed for conscious movement and everyday activation facing the northern horizon.

Heritage Cuisine and Audiophile Culture by the Sea

Food and drink at Nômade Temple Ibiza unfold as a sequence of social rituals, each shaped by a different rhythm of the island yet united by a common belief in sharing, discovery, and connection.

At the centre of the property sits TAVLA, an all-day restaurant inspired by the movement of cultures and ingredients across borders. Drawing on seasonal produce and open-fire cooking, it offers a gathering place where communal tables eliminate hierarchies, allowing meals to unfold at a slower pace and conversations to linger.

Throughout the day, Café Libre serves specialty coffee and nourishing dishes inspired by everyday rituals and the pleasure of a mindful pause. As sunset approaches, a more intimate experience is found at KUU JŪ, where Japanese omakase traditions —balancing space (Kuu) and flow (Jū)— meet fresh Mediterranean ingredients and local seafood.

At the water’s edge, 4FU3GOS embraces the spirit of the coastline through seafood-led dining and open-fire cooking, designed for long, relaxed lunches beside the property’s secluded cala. As day transitions into night, guests gather at Dante’s HiFi, an intimate listening bar inspired by Japanese audiophile culture, where vinyl, artisanal cocktails, and music set the tone for the evening ahead.

Music, Creativity and Community in Process

At the core of Nômade Temple Ibiza is the belief that meaningful experiences emerge through authentic gathering and shared connection. One of the property’s most distinctive spaces is El Templo, whose architecture draws inspiration from the imaginative world and geometric forms of M.C. Escher. Designed as a flexible environment, it hosts yoga, meditation, movement practices, immersive performances, and celebrations, adapting naturally to the island’s changing rhythms throughout the day and night.

The hotel is also home to Nômade Studio, a professional recording studio created by sound experts and musicians as a space for artistic expression and creative collaboration. Designed to welcome musicians, producers, and creative minds from around the world, the studio functions as both a workspace and a gathering place, reinforcing Nômade Temple Ibiza’s role as a platform for cultural exchange and human connection.
