UK’s only LGBT Youth Summer Camp is to take place in Wales this August!

Mosaic LGBT+ Youth Summer Camp will take place for the third year, this time in Wales near Snowdonia national park, offering participants tranquil surroundings to part take in camp activities.

Background

Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre founded the Mosaic LGBT Youth Summer Camp in order to support, educate and inspire those young persons who might not have access to local youth group or whom simply need a time away from it all. 2017 is a third year the camp will be run by an experienced multidisciplinary team offering great activities alongside games and social time just to keep the balance right.

The idea has been born out of the fact that Camp’s are extremely popular and particularly beneficial to young LGBT persons who still are far too often victims of abuse at home, school and in public spaces. It is therefore even more important to get away to recharge resilience and create supportive, affirming networks.
